We have always preferred front-facing fingerprint scanners – not least because it means you can unlock the phone and authenticate secure apps when the handset is resting on your desk or charging without having to pick it up.
As far as I am aware, sam mobile do have US firmwares to get rid of carrier bloat. You have to match the model number though or run the risk of bricking the phone.
The S9+ was simply too darned large when combined with a case, which you will want, simply because the "glass" enclosure is like a fresh wet watermelon seed in your hand. No grip whatsoever. I really wanted it, but the size is silly. Still happy with the S9.
@Daniel Bliss - I prefer andoid & samsung but I think iphone is better in a lot of areas, certainly in terms of updates. My main criteria were water resistance and repairability as I hope to get at least 5 years out of this phone.

The Seoul-based company claims its ultrasonic scanner is more reliable than rival solutions since it uses soundwaves instead of light, which means it can continue to work in tough weather conditions, including heavy rain.
to work out the secret behind this trick is Samsung’s all-new Infinity-Este display, which rehouses the front-facing selfie camera – typically found in the bezel above the screen – into a small hole-punch in the top right-hand corner of the panel. The proximity and ambient light sensors are also embedded underneath the screen.

Verizon had a great deal through Best Buy where the phone was almost half price through their service (I pay for it through massive phone bills anyways).
Web-pages loaded quickly during our time with our review unit, as did media content. However, the S10+ typically finished behind the iPhone check here XS Max and Mate 20 Pro in browser benchmarks.
We still feel the check here lack of aptX HD support is questionable though. Although LDAC is an even higher-resolution codec, only a few headphones support it at the time of writing, so it is a shame that Samsung continues to abandon aptX HD.
The S10+ has stereo speakers just like its predecessor. The main speaker sits on the underside of the frame, while the device uses its earpiece as a secondary speaker. Samsung has better optimised the speakers in our opinion compared to those in the Galaxy S9+, which results in a more balanced sound, especially at medium volume.
Moreover, our chart looks increasingly blurry towards the edge of the image. The proportions of the chart are all wrong too, which underlines that the ultra-wide-angle lens here is most suited for panoramic shots that are taken outside.
